Steve (The sunday man) Rowles was on a weekend stint at crows heath essex
when on the last day at 3PM he landed a common carp of 32lbs, having fished
a rod length off a large reed bed over a 2 kilo bed of MAINLINES pro-active
pineapple boilies in about 5FT of water. His hook bait was the same covered
in paste fished in conjunction with a p.v.a bag with another 5 hook baits in
it. The fish fought hard for 20 minutes after that steve landed it. This was
his 2nd 30lbs common from the water in 15 months. His tackle was 15lbs
krystonite mainline with 15lbs mantis braided hook length, a size 10 barb
less korda wide gate hook also fishing with a 3 ounce inline led. This being
steves new p.b the fish is known as 'the wide boy'. Steves count to date for
the 15months is 6 20's and 2 30's.
